Dylan Marlais Thomas (1914-1953), a Welsh neo-romantic poet and writer, became very popular through his collection of 25 poems ‘And death shall have no dominion’ (1936) and the play for voices Under Milk Wood (1953). Although writing exclusively in the English language, he considered himself a Welsh poet.
