Einhard Ress (1936– ) was an engineer and scientist at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). He used innovative technology to develop the focal-plane electronics of the ESA Mars Express mission and of an airborne digital camera. The naming is on the occasion of his retirement. (M 43191) _ _.
