Nikolaj Mikhajlovich Ivanov (b. 1937), a specialist in ballistics, is head of the Russian Ballistic Center, which controls missions of manned and unmanned spacecraft in near, middle and deep space. He is the author of many scientific articles, monographs and popular scientific brochures.
