Akperov Imran Guru Ogly (b. 1958), professor of economics and president of the inter-regional association of non-state education institutes in southern Russia, is also founder and rector of an institute in Rostov-on-Don. The name was suggested by S. S. Svetashev and R. Y. Gurnikovskaya.
