George W. (“Wes”) Lockwood (b. 1941), an astronomer at Lowell Observatory since 1973, is an expert on high-precision photometry. Central to his research has been a decades-long study of the seasonal variability of Saturn VI (Titan), Uranus, and Neptune, as well as activity cycles in the sun and solar-type stars.
