The Lithuanian astronomer Grazina Tautvaisiene (b. 1958) has since 2003 been director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy in Vilnius. She is known for her work on mixing phenomena in the atmospheres of evolved stars and on the chemical evolution of our Galaxy.
