Elmar K. Jessberger (b. 1943) is professor of experimental and analytical planetology and director of the Institute for Planetology at the Westfälischen Wilhelms-University in Münster. He is renowned for his work on lunar and meteorite chronology and microanalysis of cosmic dust.
