Terence J. C. A. Moseley (b. 1946), editor of Stardust, 1992 Aidan P. Fitzgerald Medallist and founding member of the Irish Federation of Astronomical Societies, was the first amateur to use the recently restored six-foot Birr telescope in Sept. 2001. The name was suggested by J. C. McConnell.
