Kryštof Harant z Polžic a Bezdružic (1564–1621), a man of wide interests, wrote poetry and a travelogue that he also illustrated and was renowned for his musical compositions. During 1600–1612 he was a valet and counsel of Rudolph II. He took part in the struggle against the Hapsburg king and was executed. (M 42365) _ _.
