Amina Helmi (b. 1970), is an Argentinian-Dutch astronomer and a contributor to the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. She is best known for the discovery of stellar streams in the nearby Galactic halo and for her dynamical modeling work of the Galaxy and nearby satellites.
