Belgian amateur astronomer Marcel Le roux (b. 1930) has worked for many years in the south of France, where he has used and improved the Schmidt telescope at the Observatoire provençal d´astrophotographie. After photographing comets and minor planets, he now mostly spends time on Hα photography of the sun.
