Richard Talcott (b. 1954) joined the staff of Astronomy magazine in early 1986. Since then, he has written hundreds of feature articles on both the science of astronomy and observing the night sky in addition to editing the popular “Sky This Month” section. Rich also has authored or co-authored several astronomy books.
