Named in memory of Grigorij Moiseevich Sandler (1912–1994), an outstanding Russian musician who made an enormous contribution to the development of choral performance. He was the main conductor of the Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) University chorus for more than 40 years. (M 24410) _ _.
