Named in honor of Roger Byrd, who has 16 years experience in project management, systems research and development, computer systems, and electronics maintenance and repair. He has extensive management experience with the GEODSS Project. He is currently the site manager at the GEODSS site in Maui and he has obtained research and development experiences working on radar projects and various space-related projects, as well as hands-on technical experience of hardware and software.
