Paul Signac (1863–1935) worked together with Seurat {see planet  (6678)} to develop the technique of pointillism. For his pointillistic paintings Signac mostly chose water, ships and ports as subjects. After Seurat and Signac not many painters worked in this time-consuming method. (M 34346) _ _.
