David Bancelin (b. 1978) is an astronomer at the Institut de Mecanique Celeste et de Calcul des Ephemerides at the Paris Observatory. His 2011 Ph.D. at the Paris Observatory focused on the dynamical study of Earth-crossing minor-planets, particularly the problem of resonant returns.
