Bonnie J. Buratti (b. 1952), a senior research scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, studies photometric properties of the surfaces of outer planet natural satellites and the small bodies of the solar system. She is a member of the science teams for the Clementine, Deep Space 1, Cassini and New Horizons missions.
