The Moon tidies its way through Virgo today, inspecting this and that for problems, remedies and perfections. Come evening, the tidy and discrete Virgo Moon is pleasantly drenched by the trance-inducing waters of Neptune in Pisces and the deep current of Jupiter in Scorpio.

The big story today is not the Moon, though, but Mars’ regression into Capricorn. It will be in Capricorn that Mars will turn direct at the end of August. The red planet’s return to Capricorn brings its fire down to earth, highlighting the concrete actions necessary to conquer the challenges and complete the refits suggested by Mars’ time retrograde. Mars will be in Capricorn until September 10th, when it re-enters Aquarius. Take a moment this evening to taste the changing wind, and get a sense of what direction the red planet is getting ready to blow. _
