‘Pioneers of the Zone’, Jack (1919–1994) and Marcelle (1929– ) Rosenzweig worked to help the Puerto Ordaz region of Venezuela. They built and operated a plant to make ice blocks for delivery to the mines. They manufactured baseball bats and furniture accessories from Belgian wood and opened a real estate company.
