Pop-rock singer Grégory Jean-Paul Lemarchal (1983-2007) won the French version of Star Academy TV show and became very popular afterward. In 2006 he was honored as “breakthrough artist of the year” at the NRJ Music Awards. He died of complications from cystic fibrosis. The name was suggested by S. Kürti.
