Giovanni Allevi (b. 1969) is an Italian piano soloist and composer of contemporary music. Fond of philosophy and physics, he obtained a Philosophy degree in 1998 with a thesis titled The vacuum in contemporary Physics. Allevi performs all over the world and has received several prestigious prizes.
