Calevoet is a hamlet in the southwestern part of the municipality of Uccle {see planet  (1276)}. The name means “grassless ford”. However, the name also means “bare foot”, which gave birth to the legend that Charlemagne crossed the small river at Calevoet barefooted. (M 47168) _ _.
