The brothers Giovanni (1647–1734) and Tommaso (1648–1737) Ceva were Italian mathematicians interested in geometry and physics. Giovanni was in the service of the Duke of Mantua. Tommaso was professor of mathematics in the Jesuit college at Milan and was also known as a poet. (M 41939) _ _.
