Charles Kohlhase (b. 1935) has been a pioneer in the design, development and execution of planetary missions for more than four decades at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He twice received NASA's Outstanding Leadership Medal for the epic Voyager Grand Tour mission to the outer planets.
