Robert Louis Charles Jonckheere (1888-1974) was a French amateur astronomer who observed visual double stars. He discovered more than 1300 systems with his private 0.35-m refractor at Hem and performed more than 15 000 measurements. Name suggested by P. Lampens and P. Van Cauteren.
