At 2382 meters, Sierra de La Sagra, or just “La Sagra”, is the highest mountain of the Prebetic mountain range in the south of Spain. The dark skies of the region, along with the good climate, make it an ideal location for an observatory. This is the first numbered minor planet from Observatorio de La Sagra.
