Eckehard Rothenberg (1938– ) is technical director of the Archenhold Observatory in Berlin-Treptow and in the past leader of a youth study group there. Many of the group’s former members (including the discoverer) are today active amateur and professional astronomers and owe him for a considerable share of their knowledge. (M 42368) _ _.
