Jacob Charles Loewenstein (b. 1989) was awarded first place and Best in Category in the 2007 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for his materials and bioengineering team project. He also received the MILSET Expo-Science Award. He attends the Hebrew Academy, Cedarhurst, New York, U.S.A.
