Nidia I. Morrell (b. 1953) is an astronomer at Las Campanas Observatory known for her work on O-type and Wolf-Rayet stars as well as massive binaries. As a member of the Carnegie Supernova Project, she also studies the spectacular explosions these stars make at the end of their lives.
