Fabrizio Ciabattari (b. 1970) is an Italian amateur astronomer, who has been Director of the Astronomical Observatory of Monte Agliale for more than 10 years. He is a math teacher and brilliant popularizer of science. He has created a program to automate the telescope of the observatory, allowing the discovery of many supernovae.
