Claude Bertout (b. 1946) is a French astronomer and long-time editor of Astronomy and Astrophysics. As Editor-in-Chief (1999-2011), he played a key role in making the journal one of the world-standards in astronomical publishing. His main research areas are star formation and the physics of T Tauri stars.
