Denise Selivon (b. 1965), a Brazilian biologist and professor at the University of São Paulo, specializes in animal evolutionary biology and has made a model of the Tephritidae family of fruit flies. Keenly interested in astronomy since childhood, she also teaches courses on biological evolution as it pertains to exobiology.
