Tokiko Naruko (1923-1995), a selfless volunteer, devoted herself to the social welfare activities in the City of Otsu. She later served as president of the Otsu City Volunteer Association. She was the daughter of Issei Yamamoto, who founded the Oriental Astronomical Association.
