Onioshidashi is a lava plateau formed by the lava flow of the 1783 eruption of Mt. Asamayama. The gigantic, dark lava spread, 3 km by 12 km and 30 m thick, makes a chilling and unearthly scene.

Discovered on 25-11-1994 in Oizumi by Kobayashi, T.
