Named for Peter Hasse (1585–1640), the first well-known organist to be appointed at the famous Marienkirche in Lübeck. On his death, he was succeeded by Franz Tunder {see planet  (7871)}, who, according to the Lübeck custom, married Hasse’s eldest daughter. Another of his daughters married the famous organist Nicolaus Bruhns {see planet  (5127)}. (M 31025) _ _.
