Named for a son of Hermes. Inspired by Athene {see planet  (881)}, Prylis suggested that entry to Troy could be gained by means of a wooden horse. Epeius {see planet  (2148)}, a carpenter, volunteered to build the horse. Afterwards, of course, Odysseus {see planet  (1143)} claimed all the credit for his stratagem. (M 30478) _ _.
