Richard J. McKim (b. 1958) directs the British Astronomical Association's Mars Section. He was BAA secretary (1986-1990) and president (1993-1995). He won the BAA Merlin and Goodacre Medals and compiled the first comprehensive martian dust-storm narrative and catalogue.
