Norman L. Vargas (b. 1972) assisted in organizing the Palomar Observatory's 1.2-m Schmidt Oschin Telescope plate archive. He is active in astronomy outreach through the Los Angeles Astronomical Society and is a volunteer telescope operator at the Mt. Wilson Observatory.
