Shinsuke Abe (b. 1970) is a pioneer in modern meteoroid and asteroid research. He has contributed to NASA's 1998-2002 Leonid Multi-Instrument Aircraft Campaign, the Hayabusa (MUSES-C) mission, and to the discovery of near-Earth objects by Pan-STARRS.
